Managing Partner, KPMG Czech Republic"2014 was a great success for our firm. We recorded growth in all sectors. It was an especially successful year for our Deal Advisory department whose advisors really stood out within a great number of transactions, acquisitions and mergers. We have also seen outstanding achievements in Tax Advisory, Risk Consulting, Audit and Legal Services.
The economy’s slight recovery also impacted our business. Demand has been rising and so has our work load. That is why we put extraordinary emphasis on employee motivation and talent management. We want to motivate employees and offer them exciting prospects. Social responsibility programmes also serve this purpose and receive very positive feedback from our staff.
Characterised by the work that we do, our firm greatly affects the market environment in the Czech Republic. Our future lies in sustainable development and innovation. We are a responsible firm and we take our commitment towards our environment very seriously. We also demonstrate our involvement in public concerns through our membership in the Government Council for Sustainable Development, whose topics include e.g. CSR reporting and clean mobility.
Without innovation, we would remain at a standstill, so we continue to innovate our services. We respond to the great amount of data growing exponentially: By providing data analytic services we try to help clients to get the most of this pool of information.We also address the issues of cyber security arising from the ever-growing number of on-line processes.We innovate our processes, establishing delivery centres that help us more efficiently take advantage our employee potential and overhaul the internal operations of our firm. We integrate social responsibility into all that we do: we monitor our carbon footprint, we select suppliers from non-profit organisations and socially responsible businesses, and continue to work on diversity issues. We do all this because we believe that our socially responsible path will take us to the sustainability of our business.”
